WHY SHOULD I CALL CONSIDER IT DONE?

Frequently Asked Questions

What or Who is Consider It Done? We are the premier Broome and Tioga County corporate/personal errand/concierge company. We provide the services which make your life easier by giving you more time to do the things you enjoy. We do the things you don't have the time or patience to do, while helping you achieve balance in your life and/or career.
How would you describe your business? I offer personal assistant and errand services to busy individuals and small businesses. My clients are people who want more quality time in their lives and need someone to take care of lighter tasks.
What types of services are offered by Consider It Done?

My services can be divided into 4 categories:

  • Care Services for individuals recuperating from surgery or injury, new and expectant moms and seniors needing assistance to maintain their independent lifestyle.
  • Personal Services for busy individuals needing assistance with some of their tedious tasks so they can tend to more important things. Examples of this are shopping, dry cleaning pickup, waiting at your home for a delivery or repair person, organizing, pickup lunch and bring to place of employment.
  • Business Services, in which my focus is on helping small businesses who have a minimal need for administrative assistance who can hire me as an independent contractor and eliminate all the fees associated with hiring an employee.
  • Travel, meeting and party planning for both personal and/or business. This can extend from small to large tasks.
What are the benefits of an errand/concierge service such as Consider It Done? We can help coordinate and organize all aspects of your life by taking care of the details and taking the stress out of your day. We can shop, pay bills, plan dinner parties and book your vacation while you are at work or enjoying your free time. We can be home for deliveries and repairs when you can't be...We are there whenever and wherever you need us to be.
How much will it cost me? Our services are designed to be flexible to your needs and your deadlines. Contact us with your requests and we will create an estimate of our fees and the time needed too. Our #1 priority is meeting your needs and your expectations. Our best rates come when you purchase weekly, monthly or annual packages.
How do I order these services? We can be reached by email or by telephone at 607-237-3971.
Who can use these services? Anyone that feels like they don't have enough hours in their day to get everything done that's needed. Our services are for everyone, from busy professionals to company owners wishing to offer their employees excellent benefits, to new parents, to caretakers of elderly family members, etc. etc. etc. In a nutshell, we help anyone that wishes they had more time or an extra helping hand
What are your hours? We operate normal business hours from 8:00AM - 5:00PM, Monday through Friday. However, we do realize that often times tasks will need to be completed in the evenings or weekends and we will do what is within our power to complete these tasks and to respond to requests in a timely manner. Errand requests outside of these hours will be accessed an additional fee of $10.00 per hour.
What does an errand service do?

Errands... those pesky little trips and jobs that clog up our 'To-Do' Lists. Using an errand service means that someone else is doing many of these things for you. Whether it's because you don't have the time – or you would rather spend it doing other things – you may find that using an errand service is just what you needed!

Who might use an errand service? Lots of people! Busy individuals, professionals, new parents, brides and grooms planning a wedding, small business owners, seniors, caregivers, homebound, recent "move-ins", and the list goes on!
How can people benefit from your services?

Seniors can continue to enjoy independent living.

Small business owners can do what they do best, running their businesses, and not worry about administrative tasks. They can actually go home in the evening and have dinner with their families.

My motto is "time is on your side". That is the single greatest benefit from my services - the gift of time. I'll sum it up by asking you a question - What would you do with an extra hour or two this week?

Here is an example of what we can do for you: If you are recuperating from surgery or injury, just had a baby, or a senior needing assistance; we can provide prescription pick up, grocery shopping, pet sitting, post office trip, or any errand that needs to be done and you just cannot get done!

Who is your ideal customer?

Anyone who has ever said, "I wish there were more hours in the day".

Where are you based? We are a licensed, insured Southern Tier business, based in Tioga County. We can go almost anywhere in the the Triple Cities area.
What are your rates? Rates range between $15-$25 per hour, with a one hour minimum. The cost of your purchases is additional. Please contact us for a personalized quote. Click here for the Teacher's Concierge special package.
Do I have to hire you full-time?

Of course not! You may need errands run once a week, once a month, or just once in a while. Everyone's needs are unique.

How do we communicate? How do I get my lists to you?  Phone, e-mail, fax, or in-person – however you're comfortable. Using grocery shopping as an example, you give me a list – I buy what you need – and deliver it to your home or office. Your groceries and other items can be in your home, set up and waiting for you. More details will be in our Service Agreement.
Do you offer transportation services? Unfortunately not, due to liability issues.
Can you provide references?

Absolutely! While I can't publish the information here for privacy reasons, I encourage you to request names and numbers of people who know me personally – and have used my services!
